These photos attempt to capture the brilliant colors of the pastel artwork created in the autumn of each year. Although the actual artwork is soon gone, photos and memories of the day remind us that creating art is a process, and it’s the process that holds importance, not just the final result!

RUBE GOLDBERG PROJECTS
As an 8th grade graduation requirement, each student completes a contraption that utilized six basic machines to complete a task. Here are some movies of these projects in action from 2001 and 2002.

2001 8th-grade American History Quilts
As a class project, 8th graders produced four quilts made up of individual squares that depicted events, celebrations and struggles that occurred in America between 1607 and 1914, along with traditional pieced quilt designs.
